TEHRAN (PEDCO) - On the final day of the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed to expand collaboration between PetroIran Development Company, Khajeh Nasir University, and the Research Institute for Oil Industry Efficiency at Khajeh Nasir University.
Recognizing the significant role of universities in the development of the oil and gas industry and aiming to increase constructive interaction between scientific research centers and governmental and private entities, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed.
The signatories included Alireza Sadeghi Abdollahi, CEO of PetroIran Development Company; Amir Reza Shahani, President of Khajeh Nasir University of Technology; and Dr. Hassan Qasemzadeh, Head of the Research Institute for Oil Industry Efficiency at Khajeh Nasir University of Technology.
The memorandum acknowledges PetroIran's competence, experience, and capabilities in executing projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as the qualifications of contractors for activities throughout the upstream oil industry chain.
It also highlights the research capabilities of the Research Institute for Oil Industry Efficiency at Khajeh Nasir University of Technology in scientific, technical, research, and laboratory fields related to the oil and gas industry.
Furthermore, the memorandum stipulates that the parties will collaborate to identify and analyze challenges in the oil industry, understand fundamental technology needs, and prioritize innovation in exploration and production.
This agreement reflects a commitment to cooperation in obtaining industrial-research projects from oil employers and coordinating and supervising their implementation.
It underscores the mutual determination to address industry challenges and drive innovation in the oil and gas sector.
