TEHRAN (PEDCO) -- Alireza Sadeghi Abdollahi, Hamidreza Saghafi, Ali Salehnia, and Nima Baqersaei, the CEOs of the PetroIran Development Group, have expressed their heartfelt condolences in a joint message following the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard.
The message extends their sympathies to the Palestinian people, the Islamic Ummah, and the employees of the PetroIran Development Group.
The leaders issued a statement following the tragic death of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas, in a terrorist attack after attending the inauguration ceremony of Iran's new president.
In their statement, they referenced a verse from the Quran, noting: “Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah; of them, some have fulfilled their obligations, and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed in the least.”
They praised Haniyeh’s unwavering dedication to the Palestinian cause and his ultimate sacrifice in the path of resistance.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the Supreme Leader, the heroic people of Palestine, the Islamic Ummah, the fighters of the resistance front, and the honorable people of Iran over the tragic assassination of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards," the statement read.
The PetroIran leaders emphasized that Haniyeh’s legacy as a devoted warrior and his lifelong commitment to serving his people and fulfilling his duties will forever be remembered and cherished by all.
