Project Summary :  The development plan of Jofeir Oil Field started in 2008 with the aim of early production of 3,500 barrels/day of crude oil and 1.7 million cubic feet of gas per day.

Jofeir Oil Field is located in the southwest of Iran in Khuzestan province, fifty kilometers west of Ahvaz. The contract for this project was concluded in 2006 between the National Iranian Oil Company as the employer and the joint venture of the Petro-Iran Development Company with the Belarusian Oil Company as the contractor.

Completed Works:
    - Comprehensive study of the field and preparation of MDP for early production and the first phase
    - Drilling 3 wells including 2 workovers and one new production well
    - Drilling an appraisal well 
    - Building a cluster with a capacity of 10,000 barrels of oil per day
    - Construction of 10 kilometers of 6-inch transmission pipelines
    - Drilling a wastewater disposal well as part of the next phase's work
