Project Summary :  This plan, aimed at maintaining the production rate from the South Pars gas field and managing the country's gas imbalance, was announced on December 31, 2023. The drilling of 9 wells as infill in the South Pars joint field, located in the Persian Gulf, within the Bushehr province, 105 kilometers away from the southern waters of the country.

Contractor:
A consortium between Petroiran Development Company (PEDCO) and Drilling Company International (DCI)

Project Scope:
  - Provision of engineering services, procurement, drilling, and commissioning of 9 infill wells on platforms SPD12B, SPD15, SPD8, SPD2, and SPD19C in the South Pars gas field as EPD and EPC projects.

Project Objectives:
  Maintaining the production rate from the South Pars gas field
  - Supplying a significant portion of the country's gas needs
  - Optimizing production and reservoir management
  - Managing the country’s gas imbalance
