TEHRAN (PETROIRAN) – The National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) announced that the development of Binak Project is under way by Petroiran Development Company.
According to Petroiran Public Relations and International Affairs Office, the NISOC has officially entrusted the implementation of Binak Development Project to Petroiran Development Company in the form of an integrated package of operations-oriented scheme to enhance and maintain productivity of 28 reservoirs with the aim of increasing production by 12,500 barrels of crude oil per day in Binak Oilfield.
Binak Development Project entails construction of access roads and sites for 6 new wells, repair of artilleries and sites for 4 existing wells, laying pipelines stretching roughly 20 kilometers, repair of 4 existing wells in Bangestan reservoir and drilling 6 new wells in Bangestan and Asmari reservoirs.
Moreover, based on the 30-month contract, Petroiran has undertaken to carry out the following tasks regarding Binak development project: Construction of 44 km of an 8-inch gas transmission pipeline from Binak gas pressure boosting station to Siahmakan gas injection station and 5.2 km of a 4-inch gas liquids pipeline from Binak gas pressure boosting station to Binak operation site, construction of a gas density train at Binak collection station with a capacity of approximately 15 million cubic feet per days to prevent gas flaring.
The contract’s maintenance period is 12 months.
Binak Oilfield is located in Bushehr Province, southern Iran, 20 km northwest of Genaveh County, on the shores of the Persian Gulf.
The field is adjacent to Golkhari oilfield, Bibi Hakimeh oilfield and Siahamkan oilfield to the north and Khark oilfield in the sea to the south.
